Standing Water

Photographed near a particularly wonderful waterfall just outside of Portland Oregon in the Columbia River Gorge.

Lately I've been doing nothing but stand development when it comes to black and white film. I've come to appreciate the way it brings out a really wide range of tones, even when working in situations where the light is a little extreme and splotchy, which is often the case when working in dense forest areas like I do very frequently.
