Blend

Sometimes I just love forcing the model to bleed into the landscape and disappear.

Cape Lookout

I'm not the most patriotic person on earth, but I figured today was a good day to post something colorful.

Sun and Clouds

I've been getting a lot of pleasure out of shooting landscapes lately. I think it is a healthy distraction for me, just taking long walks and admiring the way the sky moves and changes and turns different colors over the passage of time.

Big Sky

The entire afternoon leading up to this shoot I wasn't sure what kind of weather I was going to get. The day kept transitioning from pouring rain to a bright and sunny sky.
In the end I got a little bit of both. Or maybe a lot of both. Such is the way of things in Oregon sometimes.

Bend in the Gorge

Simply because today is the 1st of June, and because I’ve been editing pictures all day long, I’m in the mood to post twice.

For Who?

There weren't any roads near this sign so I have no clue what its purpose was. Maybe there are some really fast joggers in this area running through the fields of grass?

The mind wonders.

Some Days

There are days I want to bury my head under the wide open sky.

Beach

I’m not entirely sure how appropriate the internet is to share this image. What makes it nice for me is the two walkers in the lower left side of the frame but they get a bit lost when looking at it on a computer screen.

I think I’ll just have to make a big print of this one and hang it on my wall.

Timothy Stump

I've been on the fence about this image for a long time. The way the stump rises out of the water almost looks look I cut it out from a separate print and pasted it on this one. It's strange looking. On the other hand I totally dig the spider web of tree roots under the water.

So whatever, I'm just going to post it because I'm in a landscape sort of mood at the moment.
