Wide Open

Taking advantage of the weather on this fine spring day!

Actually, I was having a heck of a time finding somewhere to take photographs this morning.  All of my usual haunts were filled with people who had camped over the night before.  I guess that is what happens when the sun comes out in rain soaked Oregon.  

This image was made just a few feet from a well used nature trail beyond a thick grove of evergreens.  I figured so long as hikers stayed on the trail nobody would find us.
