Shadow Bird

I've been a little bit out of it the last couple of days so I apologize if my posts seem a bit disjointed. I think all of this heat is cooking my brain.

Photographed out in the Columbia River Gorge. It was about 7am at the time this was made and the sun was already hot and bright. Much too hot and bright for my tastes thank you very much!!  The hawk in the background was circling around looking for something to eat no doubt so I had the model sit there in that tree for a looooooong time waiting for it to fly into frame.
