Wide Hands

This is an older image that I've always been fond of.

On a technical level I am rather amazed it worked out so well.  This was photographed with a 15mm Heliar lens and working with such a wide angle rarely comes out nicely when I position the model so close to the camera.  The distortion can get a bit extreme.  I am also stunned I managed to get the horizon line pretty straight even though this was hand held!!

Beyond that though, I just like the look on the model's face.  It is kind of mysterious but yet not flat or emotionless.  I don't know...  It just works!
