Shallow Air

This was a wonderfully relaxing photo session from last weekend.  We had nearly perfect weather with only a slight chill in the air.

I am relearning to appreciate my 40mm f/1.4 Nokton lens.  I was ignoring it for the longest time because my Leica M does not have frame lines for a 40mm lens.  At one point I actually almost sold it thinking it should go to a home that appreciates it more.

However, I have found that if I use the 50mm frame lines and compose in a really tight way the final image just has slightly more information in the composition which looks nice.
