Grain Reflections

I really like the way the grain in this image contrasts with the soft water and the very delicate pose.  It's one of those things that I think film does very well.

This is also an image that really demonstrates why I like the 80mm f/1.9 lens on my Mamiya 645e.  It has a slight softness to it that I find appealing.  I feel like photographers are always in this race to find the "sharpest" lens without realizing that isn't the only quality that can make a lens great.
