Tree at Sunset

This image was made during the last days of summer while the sun was setting off in the distance.  It was such a calm and peaceful evening and I won't soon be forgetting it.

The model and I found this hollowed out tree trunk in the middle of a field.  There were migrating birds flying over head as she held what was actually a fairly awkward pose.  There wasn't a lot of room to stand in that tree after all.

I think the image turned out beautiful, but even if it hadn't I would still be cherishing the memory.
